The Cloud Architecture Behind MarvelX's Insurance AI Agents

Deploying AI in the insurance industry requires more than powerful models. Insurers operate in highly regulated environments where security, compliance, and reliability are critical.
To support global deployments of our AI agents, MarvelX partnered with Xebia to design and implement a secure, scalable cloud foundation on Google Cloud.
A Cloud Architecture Built for Insurance
The goal was to create an infrastructure capable of supporting enterprise insurers while meeting strict security and compliance requirements. Together, the teams implemented a cloud architecture designed for scalability, governance, and automation.
Key components of the platform include:
Enterprise Google Cloud landing zone with hardened networking, identity management, logging, and full auditability
Compliance-by-design architecture ISO 27001 certified, SOC 2 in progress
Infrastructure automation using Terraform, enabling consistent, repeatable deployments across regions
Secure multi-environment architecture for production workloads and insurer deployments
Accelerating Compliance Readiness
A major focus of the collaboration was embedding compliance directly into the platform architecture. By integrating structured controls and documentation processes into the infrastructure itself, MarvelX significantly accelerated its path toward ISO 27001 and SOC2 readiness.
This approach reduces audit overhead while ensuring the platform meets the security expectations of enterprise insurers.
Enabling Global AI Agent Deployments
With this foundation in place, MarvelX can now scale its AI agents globally across multiple use cases, including:
Processing claims
Report generation
Underwriting support
Customer service
AI Image detection
The platform provides insurers with the security, reliability, and governance required to deploy AI within core insurance workflows.
Looking Ahead
As insurers continue to adopt AI-driven automation, secure infrastructure and compliance readiness will remain essential. With a scalable cloud foundation in place, MarvelX is continuing to expand its AI agent deployments across global insurance markets.
